The Business Analysis team in Customer Operations & Transformation is central to all major project launches in Plusnet, covering areas such as new products, enterprise wide platform implementations and CX initiatives.
The Business Analysis Manager is accountable for strategically and operationally leading the Business Analysis (BA) discipline within Plusnet, directly managing a team of Business Analysts and Business Analysts Specialist. You will set the vision and strategy across the C2M process for analysis standards and frameworks, as well as establishing a Centre of Excellence to deliver a high quality business analysis capability in a dynamic and fast paced project portfolio.
You will need previous practical experience of working and leading on multiple project types and sizes across the whole project lifecycle, whilst effectively adhering to and challenging where needed, different methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile and Scrum. Using this experience along with keeping up to speed with industry best practise you will recommend approaches and guidance to requirements elicitation & gathering, analysis activities and process modelling to name but a few, to both the rest of the team in the form of coaching but also in a consultative capacity to the wider business.
You will be required to develop and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts both internally throughout the organisation and externally with third parties. They will utilise these relationships to effectively promote the Business Analysis function within Plusnet and where applicable BT Consumer, and lead bringing the BA strategy to life.
As a Business Analysis Manager you will...
Act as an effective leader, providing strong coaching, support and effective performance management of the team as well as identifying and implementing tailored development opportunities
Set the strategy and direction for the Business Analyst function and bring to life within the wider organisation
Champion and promote the customer experience agenda in various forums and at all levels of the business
Continuously review and improve Business Analysis procedures and processes for the team, aligning with industry and where relevant BT best practise
To define the overall resource levels of the BA practise and keep these levels under review, including planning, estimating and risk mitigation activities where applicable
Be accountable for the analysis, identification and call out of interdependencies between planned projects to the wider project delivery teams and where needed, the Leadership Team
Develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business such as SME’s, heads of department, project management teams and the Leadership team, to ensure priorities are aligned where possible and to drive decisions effectively

Significant previous Business Analysis experience using both Agile & Waterfall methodologies
Experience developing and upskilling Business Analysis teams
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge requirements to develop the best solution
Business Analysis qualifications
Telecoms experience is beneficial but not essential
