ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Gathering, analyzing, preparing and summarizing various financial reports and variance explanations.
Maintain multiple Excel spreadsheets / databases of critical financial information.
Compare and analyze actual results with forecasts and budgets.
Assist in preparing monthly / quarterly business review presentations for senior management.
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
Auditing report accuracy of site submissions against financial reporting system (Oracle/PBCS).
Prepare ad-hoc finance reports as requested for management.
Assisting with many special projects as needed.
Communicate and co-ordinate timelines with Finance Team, as well as other functional areas of the business.
Variance analysis requiring a willingness to “go into the details” to find root-cause issues.
Focus on continuous improvement of processes to better support the businesses with more efficient and effective approaches.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance.
3 or more years’ experience in financial accounting.
Sound understanding of Financial Statements.
MS Office skills including PowerPoint and advanced Excel.
Experience in a deadline driven environment where quality must be maintained.
Highly organized with great attention to details.
Possess ability to meet deadlines under pressure, reasoning ability, mathematical ability, and quick to learn.
Ability to work well with a variety of professionals from a variety of functions.
