Your role has 3 main aspects:
Produce all necessary design documentation in line with business requirements
Seek approval of designs before handing over to our in house development team
Keep all technical documentation up to date and available for the team to use
For each project, or improvement request, produce a comprehensive design document, including any changes to the infrastructure, functionality, data structure and controls. And user experience.
Handover documentation to the in house development team for implementation, and verify that all development are in line the design.
Where possible, break down design in independently developable packages, helping the team get faster results.
Keep our technical documentation, including infrastructure diagram, functional map, data structure and controls up to date.
Where necessary, update Standard and Emergency Operating Procedures, and hand over to our support team to perform ongoing maintenance task

Skills & Experience
Java, Tomcat, IIS (Web technologies in general)
Oracle and MySQL databases, hosted in the cloud
Microsoft Azure, Windows virtual machines, Office 365
Self-driven, taking initiatives, excellent communication (English)
Quick to pick up new systems/environments and grasp the logic
At ease with datasets / data management / data integration and transfer
Able to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical crowds
Able to innovate/use innovation to generate more efficient systems/new products
Understanding of the Data Centre Colocation business
Key applications: SugarCRM, Kayako, HubSpot, FNT Software
Other languages: EU languages/Japanese
Training/Certifications: Agile/Scrumb, Project Management, Any mentioned technologies.
