Capital Markets Business Development Manager

Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Business Development Director, Capital Markets, the primary purpose of this role is to develop strategic growth and new revenues through the on-boarding of providers to Colt’s Capital Markets community network, and relationship management of exchanges, venues, content providers, ISV’s and strategic partners

To work with the Capital Markets products and sales teams to fully understand Colt Capital Markets value propositions
Define and identify Extranet provider and member target list
Prospect new Extranet providers and members
Drive and facilitate Extranet on-boarding agreements with providers and members
Define and identify key Capital Markets prospective partners, eg Exchanges, ECN’s, ISV’s and Data Centre providers
Drive and facilitate commercial agreements with partners to grow incremental revenues
Manage on-going relationship with Exchanges, ECN’s, content providers etc to develop additional revenue generating initiatives and agreements.
Articulate the end to end Capital Markets propositions and the benefits to prospective providers and members and partners
Provides high level feedback to Capital Markets Exec, Portfolio team and partners on product & services development necessary to secure high value business development

Experience:

Proven business development expertise
Record of consistent over achievement of new business targets and KPI’s
Excellent business development and relationship management skills developed through extensive experience within the Capital Markets sector
Excellent business level knowledge of Capital Markets IT infra structures ./ platforms / current industry trends and ability to influence Exec decision making criteria
Proven experience in leading complex teams in a variety of disciplines to deliver successful sales / commercial projects
Strong knowledge of Capital Markets vertical, understanding of the end to end trading life cycle and underpinning technology
Demonstrable experience working in a team environment with the ability to influence and motivate complex, matrix teams both virtually and directly
Proven ability to deliver work in a timely manner whilst under pressure within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
European travel required
Fluent in English as well as one other European language will be beneficial – both written and spoken
Accreditation in at least one professional sales / recognised consultancy methodology, i.e. Miller Hyman, Spin, Jaws or equivalent
