A TYPICAL DAY IN YOUR WORLD:
Work with a variety of scrum teams and communicate the current state of performance testing activities; provide updates about work you were able to complete yesterday and will complete today.
Work with the scrum teams to plan for, execute, and report on the performance impact of their changes during sprint work.
Review performance requirements and work with Product Management to eliminate ambiguities early in the process.
Review the feature implementation and suggest improvements to build enterprise-level product performance.
Review pull requests and performance test run results to ensure no performance degradation has occurred.
Communicate performance test results and status to the teams and leadership.
Continually improve performance test efficiency.
Conduct analysis and prepare performance test scenarios for the functionality being developed for each release, as well as enhancing the product performance test scenarios to include new features.
Maintain the performance test environment and associated data required for performance testing.

TO LAND THIS JOB YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent education) or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of performance testing experience using either proprietary or industry standard tools and processes, including statistical analysis of performance testing; preferred experience with SaaS performance testing.
Knowledge and experience with Java.
Linux/Unix and Shell scripting experience.
Python experience a plus.
AppDynamics knowledge a plus.
Understanding of different performance testing types and their application to different environments and situations.
Capacity to learn a proprietary performance test tool used at Workfront.
Will-do attitude and growth mindset to ensure a successful journey with Workfront.
Excellent written and at least practical verbal knowledge of English.
