Business Development Manager


Define and capture technical/technological solution concepts to keep or improve asset reliability for identified customer assets integrating components and Information Technologies
Ensure profitability of availability and reliability solutions through prior value add assessment on customer site
Cooperate with Sales, offering owners, offer creation & incubation teams in order to finalize the sales process, successfully
Constantly expand the portfolio of profitable Solution packages including, best practices, guidelines, tool-boxes and methodologies for each solution
Coach regional sales organization for superior marketing of availability and reliability solutions
Coaching and supporting regional expert teams during implementation of processes, procedures and tools required to reach Maintenance Excellence


Successfully completed a University Degree in Science (MSc), physics, mechanical-, electrical-, automation-, process engineering or comparable
Several years of experience in maintenance/ operations management with Profit & Loss responsibilities in the Process -, Power Generation industry or in the Maritime sector (in-house or as contractor)
Good knowledge of MS-Office, experience with “salesforce” is a benefit
Fluent in English both spoken and written, German language skills are a benefit
Willingness to travel internationally (20 – 25%)
Independent, structured and systematic working methods
Open and Sales minded personality with a strong skill-set matching following: communication, cooperation, teamwork, organization, perseverance, punctuality, flexibility and cost consciousness
Experience in the following fields is of great significance; technical / commercial sales, implementation of OPEX programs (LEAN / 6σ), computerized maintenance management systems or ERP-systems as customer, consultant or internal expert.
