As a product manager in the Network/Cloud Security Products team, you will be responsible for driving specialized parts of the larger security strategy to grow and expand business. This includes increasing the adoption of focused solution offerings in a fast-growing market as well as developing cross solution integrations to increase customer value of existing technology. You must possess a good combination of business and technical skills, a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality.
You will work with customers and partners to extract requirements and translate them into specific user stories relevant to Network/Cloud Security products. You will be responsible for GTM execution, including: working with engineering to refine requirements; working with distributed back office teams for NPI readiness, working with product marketing on product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering - working with sales, channels and customers.
Deliver best in class cloud security services by driving a forward-looking roadmap
Understand web security and adjacent markets including industry requirements, standards, identification of potential new technologies, best practices
Collaborate with other product teams in defining cloud services
Demonstrate ownership and accountability for own product roadmaps; identifying customer pain points, converting them into user stories and prioritizing them
Set the vision for owned products and drive end-to-end execution with cross-functional teams
Provide day-to-day operational direction to the cross-functional team (such as marketing, back-ofice, engineering, customer support, etc.), defining the critical priorities for the teams
Lead the specific product/service releases in collaboration with marketing, sales and engineering counterparts
Communicate issues and seek support in a timely manner to eliminate roadblocks and drive collaboration, speed, innovation, excellence and a fun work environment
Contribute actively to innovation. Drive the development of business cases for concepts that warrant investment potential related to own product/service or transformation of existing products/service
BS/MS in computer science, business or equivalent experience
3-5 years of product management experience or technical expertise in network security space
Domain knowledge and experience in one or more of the following markets: Cloud Security, Secure Web Gateway, NGFW, Advanced Threat Protection, CASB, Information Protection.
Experience and knowledge in SaaS and cloud-based services.
Passion for technology and good understanding of current technology landscape and issues
Self-starter with a deep passion and motivation to drive growth in existing and new products
Ownership and “can do” attitude with the passion to own and drive execution.
Proven track record of launching great products working with large cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
Well-versed with the product management lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, agile/scrum experience is preferred
