IT Architect

Job Description Summary

IT Architect. Symantec’s IT Business Applications Services group is looking for an IT architect for www.symantec.com , and the corporate intranet and digital asset management systems. This role will focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), but will also be responsible for architecting solutions across other applications (such as SFDC, Eloqua, Omniture, Target).

Job Description

Adobe Experience Manager Architect requirements:

Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithm, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures.
Detailed knowledge and experience of Adobe AEM, v6.x -- experience upgrading to newer versions of AEM (to version 6.3 a plus).
Strong technical expertise and experience with Adobe AEM product suite, including AEM, CRX, Target, and DAM.
Has successfully architected and implemented AEM solutions to meet marketing, workflow, and application requirements.
Has successfully architected highly redundant and fault tolerant solutions (especially in regard to the AEM stack)
Core competencies in AEM, Java, XML, HTTP, Web Services (REST/SOAP) development.
Experience with HTML, JQuery, JSTL, JavaScript, AJAX and front-end frameworks.
Experience building web applications for mobile devices.
Deep understanding of web services software architecture and design, including security based implementations.
In depth knowledge with server administration and scripting skills.
Good understanding of networks and load balancing concepts – the ability to provide requirements to infrastructure teams is a must.
Excellent ability to provide troubleshooting assistance.
Experience with Omniture and Site Catalyst (or other analytics tools).
Experience with data modeling and database programming skills (Oracle database and PL/SQL experience a plus).
Experience with a CDN (such as Akamai) a plus.
Experience with SFDC and Eloqua a plus. Extra credit for those who have architected integrations with AEM, SFDC, and Eloqua, in particular with analytics.'
Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree in Computer Science.
Demonstrated experience working in teams effectively communicating with technical and business colleagues.
6 to 8 plus years’ experience of overall IT applications development including Java, XML, HTTP, Web Services (REST/SOAP) development, HTML, JQuery, JSTL, JavaScript, AJAX, and front-end frameworks.
4-5 plus years’ experience architecting and implementing solutions working with Adobe Experience Manager (Adobe AEM, v6.x ) stack enterprise software.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
Experience working with web services software architecture and design, including security based implementations and building web applications for mobile devices.
