Senior Manager - Ecommerce Payments & Risk

Position Summary

The eCommerce Payments and Risk position at Symantec is part of the eCommerce Sales and Operations team within the Customer Experience function of the Enterprise Business Unit. This role is primarily responsible for managing business operations for our eCommerce payment and billing systems and providers, including vendor management, cost controls, problem management, merchant administration, and operational compliance assurance. Job Responsibilities

Payment Operations & Compliance

Assess the impact of new and changed payment compliance regulations and controls. Document changes, and plan and drive mitigation programs as appropriate.
Manage ongoing payment vendor relationships, including issue triage, compliance reviews, and performance assessment.
Administer payment and merchant configurations that meet operational and compliance requirements.
Review and generate appropriate user access rights for payment service tools and providers. Perform quarterly access reviews of user access rights in compliance with Company and Card Brand requirements.

Payment and Risk

Leverage business intelligence expertise to source and use internal and external data to identify payments and risk trends, detect anomalies and develop insights and opportunities using statistical, data and process analytics methodologies and tool sets.
Liaise with external merchants, payment service providers and card brands to understand best practices and operating models, resolve issues, and optimize results for our customers.
Define and monitor payment and risk KPIs. Ensure actionable reports and alerts are established which pro-actively identify issues across all channels, geos and methods of payment.
Identify, communicate and manage payment performance issues including root cause analysis, impact measurement and resolution status with internal teams and 3rd party payment providers.
Develop initiatives that optimize the payment experience through in-depth data mining and payment flow analysis to formulate insights and recommendations that reduce customer payment friction and drive incremental value to the business.
Manage optimization initiative development and planning including definition of the opportunity, risks and dependencies, building the financial model, and maintaining the roadmap and upside projections.
Drive optimization execution activities including benchmarking, creating test plans, measurement and communicating results to stakeholders and Sr. Leadership.
Maintain team documentation and procedures which help the team stay consistent and efficient.
Partner with broader teams to ensure seamless execution of our payment strategies and roadmap initiatives, alignment with external team needs, managing risk, and optimizing costs and meet compliance requirements
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent experience preferred
3-5 years of experience in eCommerce payment and fraud risk
Excellent analytic, quantitative, and data interpretation/visualization skills with proven ability document findings
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work independently, be self-motivated and prioritize to deliver results
Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
