Looking for a person who wishes to undertake a challenging role within a dynamic company. This candidate will primarily be involved in the federal and state income tax compliance and tax accounting.
Work quarterly and annual tax provisions, income and non-income tax reserves
Prepare detailed US tax return workpapers, including book-tax differences, foreign reporting workpapers, and state apportionment
Review details of federal, state and foreign tax returns prepared by third-party service providers
Prepare estimate and extension calculations and forms
Upkeep of tax compliance calendar for global organization
Coordinate information for non-US income tax returns
Assist with federal and state income tax audits and notices
Prepare and maintain state and city business registrations and tax incentives
Support in R&D tax credit studies
Participate in special projects and research assignments
Interact with cross-functional team members and third-party service providers
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline; CPA or Master’s in Tax
At least 2-4 years of income tax experience with a public accounting firm
Strong technical tax analysis and reporting aptitude
Ability to effectively research federal, state and international tax issues
Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to successfully interact with all levels of operation and corporate personnel.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion a plus
